So dinner's my only worry On the way home I called in the shops Potatoes, pears but no curry. Now at last with homework all done I'll mix them up in a slurry. The day was cold and the evening chill It's clear it's turning to winter This time next month it's sure to be Less sunny and much more bitter. The spring it is oh! so far away And I lack the patients to wait. So next time round I want to be born A grizzly bear and hibernate. Its clear to see that life is unfair Us humans have had a bad deal. We've lost our hair and have to wear clothes And work til we drop for a meal. The animals laze around all the day They haven't a care in the world. But we the clever, who rule the Earth Don't see we're the only ones fooled! Pig don't study, the Cows don't work hard Cats and dogs have an easy life. The only creature who's missing out Is Man, with his family and wife. |
